3)Rupaul- because he is fierce
4)my sister- She's the one person who I can talk to about anything and everything
5)anime- ah, whatever would I do without my daily dose of anime goodness
6)music- my inspiration
7)love- What can I say? I'm a hopeless romantic (emphasis on the hopeless). I'm in love with love
8)tattoos- they're beautiful
9) art- in all it's many forms
10)intelligent conversation- gotta have it or I'll go brain dead

ten things I really, really don't like
1)when religion is miss used by ignorant, hateful people as a way to justify their intolerance and bigotry- I have nothing against religion but when it's used like this I can't stand it
2)country music- far less deep then #1 but just as true. It's just to damn twangy
3)ignorant people- first off my definition of ignorant is willful stupidity. Secondly the reason I dislike ignorant people is because they can be dangerous. What I mean by this is that one ignorant person will rant their uneducated beliefs from the rooftops and then other ignorant people will follow them (must be how the right wing got started). and once they're coming at you in numbers....
4)violence- do we really need it? what does it accomplish, particularly in everyday life?
5)bigots- where is the love?
6)people who think they know everything but are in reality quite stupid- if you don't know what you're talking about don't act like you do and just shuddup
7)when church and state aren't so seperate- yet again, nothing against religion but it belongs in your church and in your home not in our government
8)Astroboy- I friggin' hate that cartoon
9)gender roles- what do they accomplish except makeing people fit into a box? Not all guys need to be macho men and not all women need to be girly girls
10)geese- they're too loud
2)country music- far less deep then #1 but just as true. It's just to damn twangy

Matthew Shepard Act
Hi,
You've got to watch this video. Thousands of people are attacked
every year because of their sexual orientation, and there's
still no federal hate crimes law to protect them. This video is
the most powerful statement I've seen on hate crimes, and I
couldn't help but pass it on. I think you'll see why.
http://www.hrc.org/FightHate
There's a bill in the Senate right now that would address this
heartbreaking problem, and we only have a few weeks until the
vote. It would mean a lot to me if you could take a minute to
watch the video and write your Senators, and then pass this
along to five friends. I really believe none of us can sit this
one out. Just go to:

letter recieved from the hrc via e-mail.
also, the haters are beating us five to one with complaints and letters of protest.

Dancing with gay men
On Wednesday I went to see the True Colors tour, a concert to promote equality for all. It included performances by The Cliks, The Dresdon Dolls, Debbie Harry, Erasure, and Cyndi Lauper. One of the highlights of the concert was Erasure's performance. Prior to the concert I was not an Erasure fan (which isn't to say I disliked them but instead that I wasn't all that aware of them) but now I'm in love with them. They were incredible and I had loads of fun during there performance. This was largely due to the way they made the majority of the audience go bloody insane with enthusiasm. I returned from intermission to see all of the floor section up and dancing and I, of course, joined in. The humorous (or at least interesting)observation I made though was that almost all of the men were dancing but barely any women were. So this meant that with in my section there was me, about two other women, and hoards of gay men all dancing. Highlight of concert: dancing with gay men
Time to make an entrance!

New Blog
Freak Unique, my colleage in the making of our Zombie Bear Blog has broke off from our blog and created an account of her own, and now has a full blog that is all her own. Whether or not she will continue contributing to Zombie Bear Blog is a mystery to me, but I have a feeling her new name will be added to the Rulers list. Check out her work.

New Blog
This is the new blog, written by me and my colleague Freak Unique who is new to the blogging community. She is a young aspiring artist who is a very good friend of mine. You will probably be seeing a lot of art of hers on our blog, due to the fact that we both have photo bucket. Alright, now I'm going to go and eat my vegetarian sausages (meat is icky).
